Bupati Sleman, Kustini Sri Purnomo membuka secara langsung acara tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Turut hadir dalam acara tersebut Ketua Yayasan Kanker Indonesia (YKI) Sleman, Sri Purnomo, Ketua Baznas Sleman, Kriswanto dan Dokter RSUP Dr Sardjito Yogyakarta, dr. Sri Mulatsih yang sekaligus menyampaikan materi terkait penanganan dan pencegahan Thalasemia pada anak.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam sambutannya, Bupati Sleman, Kustini Sri Purnomo mengapresiasi dan menyambut baik upaya meningkatkan edukasi kesehatan terhadap Thalasemia. Dengan demikian, Pemkab Sleman dan beberapa stakeholder kesehatan terus mendorong berbagai upaya preventif Thalasemia pada anak melalui skrining thalasemia dan pemeriksaan darah.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSaya menghimbau kepada setiap keluarga agar menjadi seseorang yang selalu mendukung, memberi semangat, dan motivasi serta memberikan edukasi terkait penyakit thalasemia ke lingkungan masing-masing,\u201d jelas Kustini.<\/p>\n<p>Lebih lanjut, Pemerintah Kabupaten Sleman juga memberikan perhatian penuh bagi kesehatan masyarakat serta memberikan layanan kesehatan yang tersedia dengan lengkap dan terjangkau pada setiap Puskesmas di setiap Kapanewon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDibutuhkan komunikasi dan koordinasi antar stakeholder untuk memberikan perhatian pada hal hal yang menjadi permasalahan dalam penanganan dan pencegahan Thalasemia. Upaya ini tentu untuk mewujudkan Zero Thalasemia khususnya di Sleman,\u201d kata Kustini.<\/p>\n<p>Pada kesempatan tersebut, Kustini juga menyerahkan paket kasih kepada anak-anak penyintas Thalasemia.
