Batam, kompasindonesianews.com – Dalam upaya pencegahan stunting terus dilakukan untuk mencapai target nasional sebesar 14% di Tahun 2024. Sesuai dengan Peraturan Presiden Nomor 72 Tahun 2021 dan Peraturan BKKBN Nomor 12 Tahun 2021 mengamanakan untuk menjadikan calon pengantin (Catin) sebagai sasaran intervensi sensitive dan spesifik melalui pemeriksaan kesehatan dan pendampingan kesehatan reproduksi dan edukasi dini.<\/p>\n

Sebanyak 150 calon pengantin (Catin) di Kota Batam hadir mengikuti pelayanan dan pengukuran kesehatan di Kantor Perwakilan BKKBN Kepulauan Riau, Kamis (20\/6). Hadir secara langsung Asisten I Pemerintah Kota Batam Drs. Yusfa Hendri, M.Si, Direktur Pelayanan KB Wilayah Khusus dr. Fajar Firdawati, MKN, Direktorat Lini Lapangan, dan Dinas PP, PA Dalduk dan KB Kota Batam.<\/p>\n

Sosialisasi pencegahan stunting\u00a0diberikan kepada Catin sebagai edukasi dini oleh para pemateri dari POGI Kota Batam dr. Rinta, SpOG dan Kantor Wilayah Agama Kota Batam H. Masnur, S.Ag, M.H.I yang memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahanan tentang gizi, kesehatan dan khususnya bagaimana mencegah terjadinya kelahiran anak stunting.<\/p>\n

Asisten I Pemerintah Kota Batam dalam sambutannya mengatakan \u201cCatin diukur lingkar lengan atas, kadar Hb dan dicek indeks massa tubuhnya, ini merupakan deteksi awal untuk mengetahui kondisi anemia,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n

\u201cCalon pengantin juga harus fokus pada 1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan (HPK) untuk mencegah terjadinya stunting,\u201d tambahnya.<\/p>\n

Kepala Perwakilan BKKBN Kepulauan Riau, Rohina M Si menyampaikan bahwa pemeriksaan dan edukasi Catin dilakukan sejak 3 (tiga) bulan pranikah sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting dari hulu.<\/p>\n

\u201cHasilnya akan dicatat pada Aplikasi Elsimil dan apabila hasilnya belum sesuai akan dilakukan pendampingan oleh Tim Pendamping Keluarga (TPK) sampai kondisi Catin\/ Calon Pasangan Usia Subur (PUS) tersebut siap untuk hamil, \u201ctegasnya.<\/p>\n

Cyndi Putri (28) salah satu perserta kegiatan yang akan melangsungkan pernikahannya di bulan September mendatang menyampaikan \u201cDengan mengikuti kegiatan ini saya lebih aware terhadap kesehatan sebelum menikah khususnya tentang pencegahan stunting.
